Anticipating demand on the back of emission regulations tightening up, EcovBlue venture of Green Blue Private Limited is working towards manufacturing AdBlue Reagent in India.

Navi Mumbai Based EcovBlue Private Limtied is working towards launching AdBlue Diesel Exhaust Fluid, which is used after treatment of an Euro 4 (BS IV) to Euro 6  (BS IV) emission compliant engine. Specialising in the manufacture of AdBlue production equipment, AdBlue manufacturing plant and Def Manufacturing plant in India. EcovBlue is anticipating the need for Adblue as automobiles move up the emission compliance ladder. Specialising in the manufacture of AdBlue Production equipment and DEF manufacturing plant and Fixed mobile and modular plant for production of high quality of AdBlue & DEF. EcovBlue is getting into the manufacture of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) to increase its reach in the Indian CV market by manufacturing DEF at its Navi Mumbai plant. The company is eyeing a pie of the market that is estimated to be 4576000 kilo litre and growing. As part of an initial investment in DEF, EcovBlue will be investing Rupees five-crores in a phased manner to set up a capacity of 3600 kilo litres. With the number of SCR equipped CVs expected to grow rapidly as BSVI emission standards are implemented in 2020, EcovBlue India is looking at a rapid growth in the segment. It is keen to leverage its existing network as well as those that come in as part of the expansion it is carrying out, to achieve a higher market reach as far as DEF is concerned. Established in 2016, EcovBlue is closely following the consumption pattern of DEF in India. Typically consumed at the rate of three to five percent of the diesel quantity, one fill of AdBlue in a separate tank of 40-litre capacity is said to be sufficient for one fill of fuel tank, which is usually 800 litres in a Commercial Vehicle. Catering to Commercial Vehicle manufacturers like Tata Motors, Force Motors, SML Isuzu, and tractor and off-highway equipment manufacturers like TAFE, Escorts, ITL, Eicher and Komatsu.

Following international standards with the use of 5S and 3M concepts, EcovBlue has also ventured into the manufacture of Electric vehicle Charging Station, and Diesel Production Machine in India. In fact, its been one year that the company has been manufacturing these products. While the Adblue business is likely to be timed with the move to Euro 4 BS IV emission regulation enforcement in India, the fastest growing business of the company as of current is AdBlue & DEF manufacturing machine. The company specialises in various kinds of AdBlue blending equipment suited as per the need of the customer. To keep up with the changing requirements of the clients, the company has invested in an R&D centre. The centre focuses on product development and new skid based plant. It is with the support of the R&D centre, that the company is taking new strides.
